Tournament Alerts: Take Your Game Further
Want to help your child test their skills outside of weekly club sessions? We keep our members informed about upcoming local junior tournaments, friendly matches, and regional championships.
Why Play in Tournaments?
Test Progress: See how players develop against competitors from other schools and clubs.
Win Trophies: Compete for medals, trophies, and exciting prizes.
Build Resilience: Learn to handle the excitement and pressure of real competitive matches in a supportive environment.
Team Support: We often attend events together as a club so players always have the backing of their coaches and friends.
How It Works
Staying updated is simple and hassle-free:
1. Register Your Interest: Let us know you want to stay in the loop by getting in touch with the club.
2. Get the Update: We will email you details well ahead of upcoming events. Please note that priority booking is always given to our current club members.
3. Simple Entry: pay by bank transfer to secure your place.
Note for Parents: There are sections for all abilities, from complete beginners to advanced players. Your child does not need to be an expert to join in, gain experience, and have fun!
Your support goes further than just the game. Ethical Style. Essential Funding.
Every purchase from our 'Chess for Breakfast' collection is a sustainable choice. Our gear is printed on demand using certified organic cotton in a renewable energy-powered factory, meaning zero waste and zero plastic packaging.
More importantly, your purchase powers the club! The profits from this ethical merchandise go directly toward our running costs, helping us keep the lights on, secure meeting venues, and fund crucial equipment for our junior players.
Pro Tip: We recommend wearing our Away Hoodie for all external matches to represent the club, and the Home Hoodie for club nights to build that community feeling.
Feel part of the team!
It's ethical fashion that fuels the future of our club, ensuring we can continue to grow and thrive.
